So, our Innovation Team was tasked to come up with a chocolate fruit option for a new flavor, so we tried Chocolate Strawberry, Chocolate Blackberry, and Chocolate Raspberry and overall, Chocolate Raspberry won the horse race.

What do you mean by, horse race?
Tom, Senior Food Scientist:
Well, Stano. A horse race is a company-wide taste test where all the employees vote on their favorite and we move forward with the winner.

Because Valentine’s Day is coming up, of course. And everyone loves chocolate.

How did you land on the final flavor profile?
Stano, Food Scientist, Product Development:
Our Innovation Team went to the store and we tried a bunch of chocolate raspberry treats from ice cream, cookies, to fresh raspberries. Ultimately, we wanted something simple and fresh, so we came up with a fresh raspberry dipped in chocolate as the profile to go with.
